This is just an Idea

The suns have cap room, and rumor has it they want to make a strong run at Kobe, but here is another possible scernierio

Suns Trade: Shawn Marion (19 PPG, 9.3 Reb, 2.5 Ast in 41 MPG)
and their First round pick this year (Top 10 most likely)

Suns Recieve: Allen Iverson (27.4 PPG 3.9 Reb, 6.0 Ast. in 43 MPG)
Team outlook= +8.4 PPG, -5.4 Reb, +3.5 Ast.


Sixers Trade: AI (27.4 PPG 3.9 Reb, 6.0 Ast. in 43 MPG)

Sixers Recieve: Shawn Marion (19 PPG, 9.3 Reb, 2.5 Ast )
A top 10 pick in this years draft

Trade accepted

I am not the biggest AI fan, but he is still one of the top 5 players in the league. The suns in effect can move JJ to SF, and still keep Amare, while becoming a strong team, and STILL have enough cap room to sign a VERY Good Free Agent!!!!

The sixer get the 2nd best SF in the league (only to Peja), and a top ten pick to add to their own so they can start rebuilding and doing it the right way!!

What are your thoughts?

I can't see Philly giving up AI, he means too much to that team and their fans.
But thinking of it a different way, with no emotions, I would make the trade.

HAHAHAHAHAHAH YOu think that Colangelo Would put up with AI!? Plus marion is way better whats AI's FG%? In the 30's?

We don't need Iverson.

We don't need his problems either and Shawn Marion is like half a decade younger.

I agree... but nonetheless, AI will put people in the seats, and excite the organization and city!!

I am NOT a huge fan of AI, but I think he could go well with AMare, and we would still have enough cap room to sign someone else......

As far as Coloangelo goes, ya thats a whole new problem, but hey winning solves ALL problems, and we can look at the bright side Amare will just have the opportunity to get more rebounds as AI misses (30 FG%)

SG- AI/Jacobsen
SF- JJ/ Zarko
PF- AMare/Lampe/
C- Camby?/okur?/Voskl

I think that is a pretty good team, and one that could compete for a championship......

ALTHOUGH all this depends ofcourse on our LEGITMATE chance to land Kobe, b/c I would rather have Kobe than AI any day of the week

Nah.. I like the size we have with Johnson and Marion.. besides that, Iverson IS Philadelphia.. we already ripped them off once when we got Chuck for Horny, I don't think they're going to go for AI for Matrix..

AI is a spitting image of Marbury. Both can score and pass. However, Iverson is nothing but a crybaby. I don't see how Iverson adds anything to the Suns. I think we develop Barbosa and take a shot a Kobe.

Maybe try and land Divac too.
