Re: Childhood poems
7th Grade poem that was decent enough to get published in a book (mandatory English class entrance into a contest).
My Hair is Falling Out
My hair is falling out.
I’m only five,
but my hair is falling out.
Pardon me if I shout,
my hair is falling out!!!
It’s on the floor, it’s on the bed,
it just keeps falling off my head.
Pardon me if I shout,
my hair is falling out!!!
If I keep shedding anymore,
it will most likely block the door.
Pardon me if I shout,
my hair is falling out!!!
It’s over here, it’s over there,
my gosh, my hair, it’s everywhere.
Pardon me if I shout,
my hair is falling out!!!
It’s in a pile, it’s in a heap,
every lock just makes me weep.
Pardon me if I shout,
my hair is falling out!!!
You say it’s normal?
Imagine that!
The hair always falls off a cat.
Well, pardon me if I shout,
I’m a cat, I’m a cat!
Quick, let me out!!!
