Last supper for jihadis
NYTimes reports today that the Predator drone airstrikes
in Pakistan near the Afghan border that killed 20 were initiated by local intelligence that a local pro-taliban
tribesman had invited the local arab terrorists to a post-
Ramadan feast, who accepted the invitation unaware that this would be their last supper before permanently checking in at the post-Ramadan Inn in the sky.

Re: Last supper for jihadis
You mean like people who need people? I'd say that these were not the luckiest people, Babbles Streisand, notwithstanding.

Re: Last supper for jihadis
Usually, it just says 20 people were killed and doesn't go into who or whom.

Re: Last supper for jihadis
No, usually they would say 20 innocent civilians ...
In today's report, they refrained from referring to the woman and 3 children as innocent civilians. Perhaps they have heard of Hamza Ben Bin-Laden and the M.I.T. femaloid.

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Pakistan (AP) — Militants on Saturday buried the bodies of Arab comrades who were among at least 20 people killed when suspected U.S. missiles hit a house near the Afghan border, Pakistani officials said.

Re: Last supper for jihadis
Fun? The real humor is the notion of these islamicist arab murderers participating presumably with straight faces in a ceremonial ritual of the "religion of peace ", ... and getting blown to bits in the process. Maybe there is a G-d
after all.

Re: Last supper for jihadis
I think there is no reason for celebrating those latest events. Strikes like this will only help extremists to recruits more 'soldiers'.
Quote:
|
"There is an escalating sense of furious impotence among the ordinary people of Pakistan. Many - perhaps most - of them are strongly opposed to the spread of Talibanization and extremist influence across the country: people who might be described as 'moderates'. Many of them have no sympathy for the mullahs and their burning of girls' schools and their medieval mindset. But if you bomb a moderate sensibility often enough, it has a tendency to lose its sense of objectivity and to feel driven in the direction of extremism. If America bombs moderate sensibilities often enough, you may find that its actions are the best recruiting sergeant that the extremists ever had" (The News, September12).
