Re: Romney looks for a breakout moment in Israel to salvage foreign trip
Every single Olympics there are always reports of unreadiness or insecurity. In Athens the building concrete wasn't supposedly set fully. In Beijing, remember the smog that was supposed to harm all the people with lungs that weren't from Beijing? Why do I as an American voter care if Romney offended the Britons with some unwise remarks. If he came out and called all English a bunch of snaggletoothed pansies I could see that hurting foreign relations, but this is meaningless.
Also Hey Romney...campaign in the country you are running in. I know American voters are apathetic and our willingness to make sure that only live and actual citizens vote is absent, but Americans would rather see you here than you trying to Cliff Notes your way through foreign policy. The British can't vote for you.

Re: Romney looks for a breakout moment in Israel to salvage foreign trip
Going to England can only do more harm than good if your campaign is little more than "**** the poor" and "America is the best". That press is going to crush you, which is what happened. In Poland and Israel he won't get scores of foreign journalists openly mocking his idiocy all over twitter in English, so as long as the US Press Corps does their typical stenopad bullshit, he'll look "presidential".

If we're lucky he'll hire Jimmy Carter's translators.
