Black CNN camera operator allegedly pelted with peanuts, told ‘this is how we feed animals’ at RNC

The Republican National Convention was marred by a disturbing incident Tuesday night, as a black, female camera operator was apparently racially taunted on the convention floor.

Current TV host David Shuster tweeted late Tuesday night: “GOP attendee [sic, turned out it was two] ejected for throwing nuts at African American camera woman + saying ‘This is how we feed animals.’”

It just doesn't get better than this. I have advocated for years that the GOP's fringe is racist, and there you have it...two morons who not only exhibit such behavior, but direct it at a media representative in order to get full exposure as to their racist tendencies.

Not that the Dems are any better as a whole, but you always have to ask yourself two things when something like this happens: (1) How many others at the convention think like this but can hold their alcohol better, and (2) Would you ever see this at a Dems convention?

So what happens now? The head RNC guy has to apologize to the head NAACP guy?

This is a PR nightmare and they should already have made a statement condemning the act. The peanut throwers should be charged with assault. Make examples out of them and let them have all the blame.

There's no statement right now, so it looks like they don't care.

Do people get wasted at political conventions all the time? Do they serve drinks there or do they pre-funk?

Never knew people were drinking at those. I guess it makes sense. You pretty much just sit there and cheer at everything the guy on stage says.
