Re: Debate Night- Oct. 16
"I was doing you a favour, the rest of the post was far worse.
..trololol, yep, there you go using reason again. You may as well have said "yeah well you're a doo-doo head." Okay, E.H. I'll just forget the fact that you've again failed to address my point, you've failed to recognize that you abandoned reason from the start, and since you are so clearly in the right (truly am sorry for stepping on your pulpit, by the way), why don't you go ahead and explain why Mitt Romney would make a better president? Why would you rather see this man representing the United States as he addresses the UN General Assembly? If both these men are outright sociopaths as you refuse to veer from, why is Willard a better alternative to Barack? Why, in a political system that undermines consistency, accountability and actual progressiveness by staging presidential elections every 4 years in which the majority of the electorate is unaware, impatient, and uninformed should Mitt "born on third base thinking he hit a triple" Romney be placed in the Oval Office? Since you seem to enjoy looking at things psychologically and applying labels, what would you label a sociopath of a president who falsely believes he is a self-made man? A man born into an abundance of wealth and stability that most Americans can only dream of. My original statement was not a "non-sequitr", and I apologize if you didn't particularly enjoy the rhetoric, fact of the matter iz I cud tipe lik dis and it wouldn't alter the fact that you enjoy hiding behind semantics. See: "I don't feel 'wronged' (whatever the hell that's supposed to mean)"..any other poster on BBB could figure out "whatever the hell that's supposed to mean" You can pretend to undercut the Thomas Paine quote, but fact of the matter is you abandoned reason from the start, attacking another poster without applying any reason whatsoever -- a fact you are continually failing to address while dropping such gems as "I was doing you a favour, the rest of the post was far worse." You are holding a position while vehemently denying another that you find offensive and/or terrifying. Your complacency is astounding, my friend. My original post centered around this one point: When looking at the trajectory of the Romney campaign, we've been seeing a man who is being coached to no bounds to emulate the complete command on body language and rhetoric that President Obama is so very renowned for, rightfully so. ..yeah, truly written like a "17 year old in love for the first time". Do tell how the substance of Romney's character, campaign, and presidential aspirations makes him more qualified to hold the office of President of the United States of America than Barack Obama. Do tell how a man who told his supporters that "it's not his job to worry about" 47% of this country's citizenship should become this country's moral leader. Do tell, and don't even begin to abandon reason again with "drone attacks, killing innocent civilians" etc etc as if every action undertaken by this nation is the direct result of Obama moving his lips, as if there isn't an intelligence community comprised of numerous bureaucracies moving independently of presidential command. As if any or all of these atrocities will dissipate into thin air upon Obama leaving office. Do tell. |

Re: Debate Night- Oct. 16
Well I'm certainly anti-war, anti-intervention, anti-torture, anti-drug war, anti-corporate welfare, anti-militarism. Sort of like the democratic party circa 2007. Minus the obsession with running everyone's life down to the smallest detail. Sadly the democratic party is in favour of all that crap these days.

Re: Debate Night- Oct. 16
Wow. Big, big W for the Barackness Monster.
E.H., that's Barack Obama I'm referring to. It's funny watching conservative outlets scramble while more liberal stations are acting like it's Christmas. |

Re: Debate Night- Oct. 16
if they showed these debates in reversse order a viewer probably wouldnt think anything about obama's lackluster performance in denver as they would probably think that after the first two slaughters he was merely bored

Re: Debate Night- Oct. 16
The first debate completely changed things, but Obama has been inching back up since Biden stopped the fall. Back up to about 70% shot at winning from nearly 50/50. Before the debate he was up near 90+.

Re: Debate Night- Oct. 16
Obama was on the offense the whole time. The president sure knows quite a bit about his opponent's track record.
What are these percentages Nimreitz?
