Re: Paul Ryan is a flip-flopper
So Joe Biden dedicated his entire life to destroying the United States of America and starting a war in which killed well over half a million Americans?

Re: Paul Ryan is a flip-flopper
Was Calhoun's evil so great that he was able to reach from beyond the grave to start a war 11 years after his demise? (Jesus, dude, read some history, please).

Re: Paul Ryan is a flip-flopper
I would suggest the first volume of Alan Nevin's Ordeal of the Union, since you refuse to acknowledge the truth. Calhoun failed to start the Civil War, but he laid all of the groundwork for it. It's a damned big book though and full of actual facts without stupefying bias.

Re: Paul Ryan is a flip-flopper
Are you now admitting that Calhoun was long dead and moldering in his grave when Jeff Davis and the southern democrats conspired to ensure a Lincoln victory in order to win support for secession? And that the blame for the actual war falls on Lincoln and Davis?

Re: Paul Ryan is a flip-flopper
It's hilarious to me how many news outlets are reporting this as a "tie" going into the election. Whether that's actual polling data, conservative wish-wash, or a scheme of perceived liberal high-mindedness, there is no way to truthfully tell.
However, one thing is for certain. The majority of the citizenry either neglects entirely or fails to properly put characters and happenings into a historical perspective, and throughout the course of the election which culminates tomorrow that has certainly been the case. In a country where ignorance supercedes actual political awareness, it's only proper that we'd arrive at a point where an ill intended mass media has dominance over a historical course. Yet then again, perhaps it's all cyclical. Tomorrow's a true gauge of America's awareness in regards to the rest of the developed, civilized reasoning world. |

Re: Paul Ryan is a flip-flopper
Well, that doesn't bode well as 99% of the electorate will be voting for team purple.

But if that's not the case, please do explain. |

Re: Paul Ryan is a flip-flopper
Yes, your statement is not true based on people in Georgia that I associate myself with.
And I'm conservative? That's interesting. Tell me more about myself.

Re: Paul Ryan is a flip-flopper
Huh, that is interesting considering I didn't call you a conservative. But tell me more about how you and your cohorts living in Georgia automatically makes any true statement false.
