We're talking about a lawyer that seriously thinks that the powers of the executive branch of government are covered in Article 1 of the constitution and will superciliously lecture anyone that corrects him. We won't get into his declaration that FDR "went on TV after the stock market crash and reassured people that everything will be OK" He is as stupid as a bag of hammers and senile to boot. Right... "Biden is dumb!" Actually what Biden said was that Article I defined the role of the Vice President - which it does in the sense that it says that the Vice President presides as the president of the senate and only casts votes in the event of a tie. The context (which you conveniently left out) is the question you see on the bottom of the screen - "Is the VP also part of the legislative branch". You're just regurgitating shit you picked up off of some Michelle Malkin blog or something. If you watch the whole clip it seems to me that Biden is saying that the VP's relationship with regard to the legislature is severely limited by that article and that therefore his role is almost entirely an executive one.



He certainly explains it in a roundabout way, and he shouldn't have said "that's the executive" after mentioning article I, I guess... but unless I missed something you're taking one in-artfully phrased statement in a debate and expanding that to him "thinking the powers of the executive branch are covered in Article I" and "lecturing people that correct him".

I've said on multiple occasions that neither guy should be within parking distance of the White House. I just find it hilarious that he's choosing a president based on the dangers presented by the VP when Biden is the most dangerous person to ever hold the office.

Wasn't Aaron Burr the Vice-President...like before he killed the Secretary of the Treasury and allegedly tried to overthrow the US Government? How are we using the word Dangerous today? John C. Calhoun was a full blown traitor. Of course he was frightened that Jackson would kill him on sight, so that sort of ameliorated his dangerousness.

In any event, if I were to vote for president at all (which there's a 99% chance I won't) it would be for Jill Stein, not because I care for her politics (because I don't), but because the Greens will get more votes here in Massassachusetts and every vote they get brings them closer to the 5% mark.

No, Burr didn't try to overthrow the government of the US. You really need to learn to read a little history. (Burr was charged with violating the neutrality act because his designs were against Spain via Mexico. The nonsense about him attempting to overthrow the US come from a novella, and one in which Burr was as close as the writer could get to the Civil War which was wracking the country at the time he wrote it. The Man Without a Country was intended as pro-war propaganda, only a century and a half later people have come to think of it as history). And neither Burr nor Calhoun were senile coots with access to nukes. Yes, Biden is dangerous. And a lot more dangerous than a former vice president with access to 80 musket wielding farmers or a former legislator.
