Re: And the Winner is...
As I watch the President give his victory speech, I can't help but wonder who's running the country right now.
Congress must've been holding it down for the past couple months.

Re: And the Winner is...
This election is going to turn out to be extremely similar to 1960.

Re: And the Winner is...
We didn't have the 26th Amendment yet either.

Re: And the Winner is...
This is true, yet an (at maximum) 8% difference in voter turnout doesn't change the fact that American voters refuse to show up at the polls. We're so stubborn of a (I say this loosely) republic, it's the very definition of taking something for granted.
Australia, 80% Germany, achieves high 70%s USA, 56% -- in '08. Canada beats us every year as well. ![]() It's embarrassing. |

Re: And the Winner is...
The fact that Obama can get elected again is a sad commentary on the state of affairs in America.

Re: And the Winner is...
The fact that you think Obama is a retard is a sad commentary on you (and puts you in the company of Ann Coulter). I get disagreeing with his policies, but give me a break.

Re: And the Winner is...
Wow. I'd say Obama is about as qualified to be President as any man alive. Whether you disagree with his policies or not, it is extremely obvious that he is very smart, hardworking and well educated. Calling a man like that a retard really brings up a lot of questions about a man. The problem is that no one can really govern our country under the current conditions, because everyone is so afraid of losing in the primaries that they all refuse to compromise. Obama is at least trying to do his job. Everyone else in Washington is pretty much on strike and has been for the past decade.

Re: And the Winner is...
I don't care what you have to say. Obama was a horrible failure as president and the fact that you support him tells me all I need to know about you.

Re: And the Winner is...
Well, now Romney gets to do his favorite thing and downsize everyone in his campaign.
