Obama won. He won every battleground state beside NC. People can say Popular is what should matter all they want but the fact is Obama carried every state beside the one that considered themself apart of the Confederate States at one time
Hey I never said Obama was the only one who deserves blame. I didn't vote for Bush so bash away on him.

A lot of people (you, I presume) are really forgetting how bad it really was in 2008. Without the bank bail out that Bush began, God only knows how much further down the shitter we would be right now.

One can look back and see how the banks took advantage of the bailout money. That was bound to happen. But the bailout was needed for the greater good of the nation, no matter how many "side" issues were bound to happen.

There is graft and corruption anywhere you look. The "green energy failures" as you put it was bound to have corruption; too much good money not being looked after. Unfortunately, that is the history of our country, and what I have the greatest portion of my life trying to prosecute those who commit fraud with U.S. funds. It's never going to end, because simply, we just don't audit the fund trails enough as a nation. It has been like that under every president since I can remember, and that goes back to LBJ (the president, not the basketball player).

The "green energy failures" is not economic policy. It is funding policy. And I don't consider some corruption a "failure." If that was the case, you would have to paint EVERY president's "economic policy" as failures as well.

I think you need to dig deeper, and not just give me sound bites from conservative talk show hosts. Perhaps you also need to look in the mirror and say to yourself "Why do I really dislike Obama?"
Again, I didn't vote for Bush and I'm not a fan of his. And yes pumping taxpayer money into green energy is absolutely economic policy.

And cut the psychobabble. We both know you are not going to change your mind no matter what I say and I don't really need to explain myself to you. I could care less if your feelings are hurt over my insulting of Obama.

Some more fun

Fox News contributor Dick Morris:
Romney 325, Obama 213. “It will be the biggest surprise in recent American political history. It will rekindle the whole question as to why the media played this race as a nailbiter where in fact I think Romney’s going to win by quite a bit.” — Nov. 4, on Fox News.

Conservative columnist George Will:
Romney 321, Obama 217. “The wild card in what I’ve projected is I’m projecting Minnesota to go for Romney.” — Nov. 4, on ABC’s “This Week.”

“All of my thinking says Romney big. All of my feeling is where my concern is. But my thoughts, my intellectual analysis of this — factoring everything I see plus the polling data — it’s not even close. Three hundred-plus electoral votes for Romney.” — Nov. 5, on his radio show.

Does anyone really dispute that the Auto bailout was a success? Aren't those industries doing much better now - and haven't they already paid back the money they were given?

Given that GM is heading into bankruptcy again? I'd call it an abject failure (and was bound to be so from the moment that Bush started the process)

Re: And the Winner is...

GM owes about 35 Billion I'd guess and AIG owes a quarter of their TARP money. Rest of it was paid back. That sum is vanishingly small in comparison to the cost of an economic collapse. Is that not true?

Paid back with funds the financial service sector got from the fed by dumping their toxic mortgages on them. Meaning that ultimately they "paid the government back" with money they got from the government. A resounding success. (And GM will be heading back into bankruptcy court soon now that the election's past.)

Re: And the Winner is...

I did not say anything about what they paid back. I asked if 50 billion dollars, which is now equity in those two companies would be too large a price to avoid an economic collapse. It's an easy enough question. Proceed to dance around it like you were running for office.

Re: And the Winner is...

The dancer here is you, because for one the price ain't $50 billion (given that the financial service sector has shoveled a couple of trillion in bad debt on the fed). And two, one of those companies is on life support. And is headed right back for bankruptcy. God willing they don't save it this time and let it get carved up by companies with better mismanagement.

And I didn't vote for Romney if that is what you are implying by calling me a hate filled person on the right.
So you voted for no one, yet feel the need to complain like you yourself have been slighted.

Again, people such as yourself really disgust me.
