I agree. I think people would understand voting against a pork-laden bill to replace it with a more responsible version. I think Boehner rubbed people wrong by promising the vote would take place and then backing out without communicating his reasoning to everyone.

Well a storm like that would have killed about 100 million dollars worth of poultry and pigs. We'd have just replaced them without bitching so much about it. Then we'd have passed the cost along to you nice folks. I don't think it'd have really effected the Skunkweed crop that much, so our main agricultural crop would have been okay.

No one grows cotton in North Carolina...at least no one with any sense. All the smart tobacco farmers took their allotment checks and built pig mansions and poultry castles. They'd make you take a shower and put on a bunny suit before they'd let you take your filthy human germs inside too.
