Blazers' Board Slogan?
I just noticed this, but how come this Blazers board doesn't have a slogan at the top? You guys should throw out some ideas! It looks empty up there.

Re: Blazers' Board Slogan?
I wonder why, for the 2nd biggest team forum on the board, we have no player links, or fancy banner, or any thing special like other teams do.

I rarely go to any other forums besides this
can you give us an example Hap... which team?
EDIT: Boston has a nice banner logo

Re: Blazers' Board Slogan?
We do have a slogan, but it only appears when you look at the forum list, we don't have a banner. I know why at least part of why we don't have player links on the side but I don't know why we don't have a banner anymore, we were the second team, after the Bulls, to have a banner. As for the player links, the mods had been told that we were going to be able to control the links ourselves, but I guess DaBullz has decided that doing that either isn't possible at this time or it is more important to add that to the major improvements that he is working on and will be implementing in the next few months. At this point, we might as well wait until we're done changing our roster for next season anyway.

Re: Blazers' Board Slogan?
I totally forgot we even had a banner on parts of this board. I Ad Blocked it a year ago, just to speed up the site a little for me.

Re: Blazers' Board Slogan?
I moved this thread into the suggestions thread (where this really should have been posted originally.)
That said, I'll contact the folks in charge of the side bar and banners and let them know what you all think.

Re: Offical Blazers Board Suggestions Thread!
How about "Getting out of Jail" for our team slogan?

Re: Offical Blazers Board Suggestions Thread!
I'd suggest that damn, this board is kind of dull now. I check a few bulletin boards in other subjects, and it's a lot more fun to post there just because they don't limit it just to the one subject.
I used to come to the main blazer board fairly often for lively debates about religion, politics, television, movies, whatever. now it's essentially become an exclusive "all Blazers, all the time" kind of board, and especially this time of year (and with our kind of team) that just doesn't do much for me right now.
I know we've got this "off topic" board here, but it doesn't get much traffic, and if I'm going to wander into an entirely off topic kind of board there are thousands to choose from.
I guess it was a little tough on the mods back in the wild west days of random posts on every topic under the sun, but it seemed a lot more interesting to me.

How about an ESPN-like sports ticker?
