Re: OT:Energy Drinks
Question about rock star . . . when I drink a red bull I get pretty amped. Rock star is about four times the size of a red bull. Does that meant you get amped four times as much. I don't think my old heart can pound four red bulls in one sitting

So comparing the "amp" each one gives you . . . the same?

Re: OT:Energy Drinks
Amp has always been my favorite. Its in a tiny can, packs a nice little punch, and tastes pretty good. I drink these if im tired before class, or tired before I lift or play ball.
If I'm pretty tired, and need to get fired up for a night of drinking Ill either buy a Full Throttle or a RockStar. Full Throttle's give me this weird energy that seems to get me extremely fired up, while RockStar is old school and always gets the job done.
I use to drink energy drinks all the time. I have cut back quite a bit. I think I have tried most out there and they all work to some degree.

Re: OT:Energy Drinks
Hey that's good info. I'm going to try the amp. I also use it ocasionally to get a jump start on work, bball or working out.
Wondering why you have cut back . . . have you read anything about what these drinks do to your body? I average about 1-2 red bulls a week and wonder in the back of my mind if this will have a toll on me.

Re: OT:Energy Drinks
Any drink with a lot of caffeine like Red Bull or Rockstar will leach vitamins out of your system, so watch any heavy intake 2+ cans/day.
My favorite energy drink is from a local company called Visoda. They have several flavors and all are produced right here in Portland. You can find out more at visoda.com.

Re: OT:Energy Drinks
I usually drink Red Bull, don't really like the flavor but if i need an energy boost it helps out. I just don't drink a lot like i used to because i get sick after 3 or more in a day.
