I care about the truth. And I think it's interesting anytime one ethnicity or one interest group controls anything in a country this big. Would you think it was relevant if the Church of Scientology was actually controlling our media? Don't tell me you wouldn't!
Liberals are constantly pointing at FOX news and screaming "Bias!" And then they immediately say, "Oh, FOX news is controlled by Rupert Murdock and all those nutty conservatives. Now wonder it's biased!" But when I point out that the major media is run by Jews, you point your finger at me and scream, "Anti-semitism"!!! I am not allowed to even mention that Jews run the major media, but you are allowed to decry the conservatives running FOX News. See the contradiction?
And, oh yeah, one more thing . . . GO BLAZERS!!!

It's remarkable to me that liberals pretend to be so open-minded and tolerant of others, yet they react with hateful bile when someone dares to challenge their world view.

well, for starters the church of scientology isn't a very old religion with millions of members..it's a wierd cult followed by people who are nutters.
If someone who was a member of the CoS was controlling our "media", I'm sure I'd probably go "oh, look, an INDIVIDUAL WHO IS A MEMBER OF A RELIGION AND NOT A REPRESNTATIVE OF THEIR RELIGION SO I SHOULDN'T ASSIGN THINGS TO THE RELIGION AS A WHOLE BASED ON WHAT HE DOES OR SAYS is in charge of something.

again, and apparently this is failing to grab a hold in your brain..
CONSERVATIVE IS NOT A RELIGION.
so when someone comments about someone being conservative, it IS ok, because you're not attacking a huge # of people, who share a common religious belief. You're talking about a mindset.
If you're against people "attacking" conservatives, why do you then attack "liberals"?

when conservativism becomes a religion, you MIGHT have a point. till then, you're just grasping at more straws, to try to justify your anti-semetic ranting.
being conservative (or liberal) isn't a religion. labeling 1 person as a representative of the group, is stupid. People who comment about conservatives "controlling" things, isn't even remotely the same as you commenting about "jews" running things.
to think otherwise shows a gross lack of intelligence on your part.

Re: Kerry belittles U.S. troops
I knew, I just knew, if I waited long enough, that Talkhard would add Jews to gays, Muslims, African-Americans, immmigrants, women.
What this has to do with Kerry referring to Bush in a joke and Talkhard, who did not, I am sure, listen to the speech claiming Kerry was insulting the troops, clearly not the case, is a mystery.

Re: Kerry belittles U.S. troops
Kerry attacks troops (according to those who lack comprehension) is the valid title here
this was a direct insult of Bush, and is completely obvious if you listen to the sentence before...."You came from Texas, but now you are in a state of denial". but of course Fox and Republicans on their last ditch smear attack, completely ignore it. Why am I not suprised?

Wade accomplished this in two consecutive series in the 2005 playoffs.
2. Joined Wilt Chamberlain, Magic Johnson, and Allen Iverson as the only players ever to record games of 40+ points, 10+ rebounds, and 15+ assists in the same playoff season in 2005.

The last record was held by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar with 63%. Wade accomplished it with less than 20 field goal attempts per game

Re: Kerry belittles U.S. troops
I too don't understand what the purpose is of alledging that the media is run by Jewish people in this or any other discussion.
First of all, you haven't shown it to be factual. You've only linked to seemingly anti-semetic web pages that rattle off a list of names of people with Jewish sounding names who work in the media. That is not even proof that a large percentage of people working in the media are of Jewish descent. It's a further stretch that these people would in fact running the media, and a further stretch to assume that they would run it any differently than people not of Jewish descent.
Secondly, what is the purpose of pointing this out, even if we believed it to be accurate? Are you saying that it's a bad thing? Do you have something against Jewish people? Is it because they're not Christian? Not conservative?
Seriously, what's the goal?
You said that you're interested in truth.
Well who isn't?
If that's all you care about, then why don't you tell us about how gravity keeps us pretty close to the Earth most of the time? It's the truth after all. There's even evidence to back it up!
You obviously have an agenda here, or you wouldn't be bringing it up. Be honest. What is it?

Re: Kerry belittles U.S. troops
Kerry has a history of denigrating our armed forces, as this AP story points out.
Quote:
|
WASHINGTON - During a Vietnam-era run for Congress three decades ago, John Kerry said he opposed a volunteer Army because it would be dominated by the underprivileged, be less accountable and be more prone to "the perpetuation of war crimes."
