Re: Unfastened Coins
The toy boat in the bathtub crushing an ice cube made me laugh. Actually, after the Titanic sank, Britain investigated for possible German sabotage, but never found it. They had no corpse, with the ship 2 miles down, but they questioned dockworkers, interviewed relatives of suspicious passengers, etc. While WWI hadn't started, Germany and Britain were already enemies.

Re: Unfastened Coins
Oh, man, one of our posters will probably be spending his entire day looking for more "truth" about this conspiracy.

Re: Unfastened Coins
It was a funny video.
But what you probably don't know, is a story that the US media has gone to sleep on.
In 2003, a group of 12 american teenagers snuck into China. They split into 3 cells of 4 men each and carried out one of the most catostrophic events in Chineese history. The US media has gone to sleep on this issue, because they don't want any Americans to feel sympathetic towards the Chineese people.
Here's what they did.
Team A: loaded backbacks full of dynamite, ran around the Chineese military headquarters making indian sounds for half an hour, then lite the dynamite and threw it right at the base. It took out a large section of the base, and destroyed several accounting records.
Team B: They rented a Geo Metro and crashed it into a section of the Great Wall. The domino affect destroyed at 25 mile section in a matter of seconds.
Team C: They infiltrated the Dalian International trade center and set fire to all of the paper towels on floor 65. 5 hours later, the whole building collapsed in on itself at free fall speed. No one can provide an adequate explaination for how this was done.
There are some crazy conspiracy theorists in China who think it's actually impossible for these boys to have been able to accomplish these acts. But you know, with over 1 billion people, they must have a few nuts.

Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country."

Re: Unfastened Coins
OK Yega, a (semi)serious question: on these conspiracy theories, where do you draw the line?
Case in point - the claim that "no Jews died on 9-11", that all Jewish employees of the WTC were warned to stay home that day. Outside of the obvious anti-semetic overtones, what distinguishes this CT from any other?

The only site I saw talking about Jews was a joke site...however, that didn't stop the History Channell from using that in their 9-11 documentry to make us look bad.
What distinguishes one ct from another is simply looking at the facts. For example, there is a ct that we never landed on the moon. But you can take each point that they raise and explain it directly.
Such as. Why were there no stars in the background? Answer, stars usually do not show up on film when the camera shot is taken near other bright lights.
How could they had the dexterity to take pictures in the vaccume of space? Answer, their cameras were equipped with huge buttons. Get my drift?
On 9-11, WTC 7 crashed in on itself at free fall speed, and we can clearly see signs of a demolition, ie, the inner column blown first, the kink, squibs shooting out of the side. And there is NO logical explaination for this. And in regards to WTC 1 and 2, the NIST admits it cannot fully explain that either, and the fact that they collapsed in that manner due to a plane crash and fire is tottally illogical.
There are also several eyewitness accounts that directly contradict the official story.
All we are talking about here is a crime. How do juries decide weather a case is good or bad? You just have to use your judgement and analyze the evidence, not just lable things as "conspiracy theories".

Re: Unfastened Coins
I have some serious questions yega, I read every one of your posts about your theories, and I would like to know how you got into these subjects? What peaked your curiosity to try and be the whistle blower and truther you believe you are? Is it your own political agenda, trying to be different, or just trying to do the right thing? I really don’t know what drives you to do this and why you chose to do this in spite of all the ridicule. Also for my biggest question, if you think this country is going down the crapper and fear for your safety why do you continue to live here?

Re: Unfastened Coins
So--If you can't defeat Yega on the issues he raises, ridicule him personally. Why don't you try my approach. I simply say, I don't know. It would take experts to decide this. They might cost a lot, or they might work for free. They might be selected for their prejudices they already hold, so people would still argue afterward. But the dumbest approach is ridicule, which comes from the desire to silence others and live a lazy complacent life.

Yeah, good luck with that. There are many of us who have tried in earnest to engage him in rational conversation, but he's proven to be obstinately unwilling. You could line up every expert on Earth to tell him something, but he would still not accept it if it went against his preconceived notions. He'd rather believe they are all controlled by the CIA. What I think is dumb is to get dragged into asinine conversation by such a person, as tempting as it often is. Is ridicule the answer? I don't know, but IMO is well-deserved. Keep trying to reason with him though if you like, and let me know when you decide it's pointless.
