Are they calling this country the "USKKK"?
Are they saying the government is trying to kill black people?
Are they handing out awards to anti-semites like Louis Farrakhan?
Are they telling people to shout, "God D--- America"?

I have no idea why I'm responding to this one particular lie and distortion of yours rather than any of the multitude of others, but... Obama never, ever said anything about not believing in what the American flag stands for. What he said, WITH NO AMBIGUITY WHATSOEVER (for those of us who get our news from sources other than rightwingnutjobs.com, anyway) was that he objected to the notion that anyone who didn't wear a particular lapel pin wasn't a true patriot. In other words, the "it" in "what it stands for" is NOT THE FLAG, it's the conformity and jingoism of the lapel-pin mafia. You are proving his point.

No I wont play your game, but just like Wright has shown that he is extremely defensive of the black race, Rush has done the same of the white race. Of which I can go into the numerous tirades he has had against minorities, which I am sure you have no objection to.
Oh by the way, one of Mccain's endorsers said he hates Catholics, the other said the Islamic religion should be obliterated. Tell me how that is not hate speech

If you can't see the incredible difference between:
a) supporting somebody for 20 years who gives racist preachings
and
b) having the vote of somebody who makes racist remarks
Then there is no way to have an intelligent discussion.

And I am saying people like Rush have been making racist comments for years now and their conservative followers have no issue with that. All of a sudden they want to act like they have no skeletons in their closets

And Rush's followers aren't running for president of the United States. That is a small, little detail.

Really? I could swear millions of people who tune into his show daily are going to have some type of influence on the presidential race. On the other hand, what impact exactly does Wright have on this presidential race?

You're argument makes absolutely no sense. So I was correct when I said:

Yes, indeed. It's hilarious to watch people twist themselves into a pretzel trying to defend Obama on this. Can you imagine them doing the same thing if Bush was worshipping at a church whose pastor was a member of the KKK? They'd be all over him, screaming "racism" and saying he was disqualified to be president any longer. But with Obama, they will find every excuse in the book to justify his 20-year relationship with a racist rabble-rouser who preaches hate against the U.S.

Do you know you just described John Mccain also?

Because for some reason you think that all that Wright preaches is evil and puts down the United States. Look the fact of the matter is Obama is his own person, its interesting that the media and his critics have not been able to find any statements by him that shows he has been influenced by Wright's so called unpatriotic views. Who are you voting for presidency? Wright or Obama?

So how many times does a pastor have to attack the United States from the pulpit before it's not okay? Once? Twice? Three times?
The first time he did it, Obama should have walked out. That would have sent a loud and clear message that he wouldn't tolerate that kind of hateful behavior from his pastor. But instead, he stayed for 20 years and gave his tacit approval to everything the pastor was saying.
As for the "good things" that his pastor did, that's well and fine. Would you excuse the hatred that David Duke spews about blacks if you found out he volunteered at the local soup kitchen once a month?
