Rev. Wright's new mansion
You can't make this stuff up . . .
The esteemed Rev. Wright, who warns his church members not to sell out to black "middle-classness" and preaches about the economic "mal-distribution" of America, is preparing to move into a $1.6 million, 10,340 sq. foot house in a gated community near Chicago.
If this is what being "oppressed by whitey" gets you, count me in. I'm a white guy and I've never lived in a house this big in my life. I wonder if the good Rev. would let me come over and swim in his pool. Nah, probably not.
You go, Reverend! Grab your piece of the American dream. We'll try to ignore the fact that you've been trashing the country that gave you such wealth and luxury for the last 20 years.

Re: Rev. Wright's new mansion
Is this still really Obama-related? If Wright buys a big house, does that show bad judgment by Obama? Are you really trying to do good political analysis here, or just trying to pour criticism on people you dislike?

Not that I particularly care about Wright and your feelings for him, but I am curious. Are you also going to ignore his years in the Marines, serving the country?

Re: Rev. Wright's new mansion
Well, if this doesn't prove that Obama is Muslim, hates America and whites, and that liberals hate America and Rev Wright hates America, nothing will.

Of course not. What makes you think that? It's completely irrelevant that the charlatan and racist and hate-monger who has been Obama's spiritual father and mentor for over 20 years is further revealed to be a hypocrite and a double-talker. It says a lot about his values, but nothing about Obama's, even though he's a close friend of Obama's and has been his pastor for over 2 decades. Nope. This has nothing to do with Obama at all. You can rest easy.

Re: Rev. Wright's new mansion
This is hilarious. First Wright is un-American, now the problem is he bought a bigger house than you can afford. What's more American than buying absurdly large houses? It's clear that Wright loves America. More than you do.

So, he was revealed to be a religious leader?

How many Christians really live as they are told to live in the Church? Very few. You can rest easy.

Ah, you're so clever, barfo. Here, let's try this one: Americans watch too much TV, so therefore someone in Denmark who watches too much TV is actually an American. Brilliant! Just brilliant!

So...Obama's pastor is "racist", and Obama went to that church..so therefore, Obama is racist.
Rock solid logic.

You're probably right. But many Christians TRY to. We can only hope Obama TRIES to live his life as this racist tells him he should.

Anyone who needs instruction from a preacher on how to live shouldn't be (and isn't) running for president. That sort of bovine docility is incompatible with the ambition and drive it takes to run.

It's funny that people think that the comments that Wright made really means that he's the same. There are a lot of pastors, rabbis, ministers (etc) who say things that not everyone in their congregation believes in.
Not only that, IF (and this is a huge if) Obama was really anti-white, he sure picked a dumb way to express it. Being President of a country thats full of white people (esp in government) is probably the worst possible way to do it.
But hey, if we can't outright call him a ******, or a coon, we might as well imply that he is (or people he associates with) are racist.
