Bruce Springsteen
My mom, stepfather and I are at the Bruce Springsteen concert tonight, and who is sitting right next to us? MGB! Any other Boss fans out there?

Re: Bruce Springsteen
I am not at the show tonight but I have been a fan for 30+ years since seeing him in Portland back in the 70's.

Re: Bruce Springsteen
Bruuuuuuuuuuuuce!
Probably have seen him about a dozen times, but the last show I saw - the Magic tour in L.A. - was a huge disappointment. He barely spoke with the audience, same encore as always, kinda boring - if that is possible.
How was the Rose Garden shoow?

Re: Bruce Springsteen
I seen him once before about 30 years ago and this concert paled in comparison, but I had fun. I wish he played a lot more of his older stuff than he did. He saved that mainly for the encore.
We're big Conan fans so it was neat seeing Max play with Bruce. Thought he did a great job.
I thought it would never start. The time on the tickets was 7:30pm, but it didn't start until 8:30pm a full hr late. I'm use to 20 mins or so late, but I've never been to one when it took them so long to start. They should have a lead band if they are going to wait that long. They played until 10:50pm which isn't real long considering the time they started.
Was a pleasant surprise to see Gambitnut sitting a couple seats from me! Actually my wife notice him first. We had sat next together at a Blazers bash so she knew him too.
What bothered me the most about the late start is it's hard for me to make it through a concert as it is because of chronic pain. I was taking percs, but they only help so much and I hate how I feel on them. I didn't think I was going to make it to the end, but then they started playing older stuff and that was enough of a distraction for me to make it to the end.
