Oregon matters?

Chuck Todd, the Political Director on MSNBC just ran through the numbers in the Democratic primary calendar. The focus wasn't on delegates, but on the popular vote. He said that in the end, it may come down to Oregon, referring to it as "the Obama firewall". She said Clinton needs to spend money in our fair state to make it a race with Obama, as Obama has been spending a lot of money on ads in Oregon already. If Oregon goes big for Obama, it may end her ability to surpass him with the popular vote.

It's been so long since we've mattered in a primary, it's kind of nice to hear us talked about as needed.

Re: Oregon matters?

It is nice to be important for once. I don't think it's a clear cut Obama as they seem to be suggesting, but I do think it's an Obama win (barring the unforseen).
