Several of those referenced mainstream media sources and personalities. Heck, even SNL got it. Don't you recall the sketch when the questioners were falling on Sen. Obama's every word? Sometimes, humor brings out the truth of the situation. The media have absolutely fallen in love with the guy. It's one of the reasons Sen. Obama was a stunned mullet when Charlie Gibson and George Stephanopoulos actually asked him hard questions. It turned out to be his last debate--gee, I wonder why?

^I really do think its stretching it when you start calling him the greatest orator of our time or the messiah and say its referencing mainstream media. Yes the media has fawned over some of his speeches, but they have never gone that far to give him those titles the right wing likes to put up ( at least the credible news sources havent)

Those sites Balian put up are no different from personal posts on this site. Anyone can run to google and type in Obama and messiah and all sorts of crackpot sites will pop up.

Give me a credible newscaster that has called him that

Regarding Gibson and Stephanopoulous, the democrats till that point had done close to what 20 debates. Whats the point of doing anymore?

The articles you posted from those sites, are no different from posts on here. Huffingtonpost for instance has individual bloggers that contribute to their site, those bloggers are no different from you and me.

Its their AP articles that I take more seriously.

It's funny that on the one hand the smear-mongers accuse Senator Obama of being a practicing Muslim for 31 years, i.e., at most 17 years ago (he is now 48), and on the other hand they criticize him for attending Jeremiah Wright's church for 20 years. If they're going to lie about him, they ought to at least make their lies consistent.
