World's Strongest Dad video

A friend sent this to me, and it's one of the most powerful and touching things I've ever seen. Dick Hoyt was born a quadriplegic with cerebral palsy, but his father has helped him feel more alive by entering them both in ironman competitions. Hope you enjoy it.

Great video. Godtube lol. Hoyt's son appears to move his arms, so is he only paraplegic? Did he regain movement in his arms after he was born?

I saw this on ESPN a while back. Very touching story. The father is an amazing man

I don't know the answer to that. I do know that his condition was caused in the womb by the umbilical cord being twisted around his neck and blocking oxygen to the brain. Everytime I see a story like this I'm reminded of how fortunate I am, and how little I really have to complain about. We should all be thankful just to be able to get up and walk around every day.
