I despise smokers. Way back in the day when dad and eldest brother smoked in the house, it probably triggered my siblings' asthma conditions. It probably triggered my asthma condition. Its the most selfish and stupidest habit a human being could have.

Today, I learned Obama fell off the wagon and started smoking again. He admitted to smoking during the campaign. I should have known. The sign were there, he has smoker's lips. If he thinks running for president is stressful, imagine him being in office? It is a very bad message for young kids to have a smoking president in the White House.

Maybe I am being overly critical of smokers. I know I am not the only one. A lot of the public feels the same way towards smokers. It is not a positive thing, thats for sure

I'm not a smoker and I've never been one. That being said, from what my friends who do or who did smoke, they universally agree that nicotine is one of the hardest drugs to kick that are out there. Trying to kick the habit while running for President? Wow, that's brutal. I'm not surprised he's fallen off the wagon.

I hope Sen. Obama manages to win his battle against cigarettes. Not just for his own health, but because he's going to be looked at as a role model by many people.

Obama isnt going to be smoking during a state of the union. If he smokes behind doors, I dont see a problem with it. Im also a smoker, and agree its a digusting habit to have. Its not easy to just "quit" though. I talked to someone who hadnt smoked for a year and he said "I havnt had one in a year, but Im still a smoker" which I found to be a pretty smart quote. Its something where one smoke can drag you back to a pack a day smoker.

Its the most selfish and stupidest habit a human being could have.

It's only selfish if you do it around children or in crowded areas that are non-smoking. Such as elevators, inside a work place, things of that nature.

The most selfish and most stupid habit a human being can have, in my opinion, is people who are adidcted to drinking and then drive. That is truly more horrendous than smoking.
