"Knowing things" is a liberal deficiency. Conservatives are correctly distrustful of people with educations and facts.

I know that much of your post was tongue-in-cheek, but you're also demonstrating your assumptions. The arrogance of those on the left is remarkable. The ironic development is that many on that side of the see-saw believe themselves to be so correct and so morally superior to the other side that further investigation of the issues is unnecessary. And that's how those who believe themselves to be free thinkers are in reality little more than lemmings.
