Great. He's a neo-nazi in a basketball player's skin. I knew something was sketchy about him. Way to go Pritch.
Eighty-eight is used as code among Neo-Nazis to identify each other. H is the 8th letter of the alphabet, so 88 is taken to stand for HH which in turn means Heil Hitler.

confusion has nothing to do with the fact that 4/20 was hitlers birthday.
it's not my fault "herb smokers" chose that time and date to smoke together.
it matters very little to me what it signifies(to them).
i choose to be of the opinion that ignorance is bliss.

Pot smokers chose 4/20 because there are about 420 poisonous chemicals in marijuana.
It's just a coincidence that 4/20 is also Hitler's birthday!!! Leave hippies alone!!!!

How about this interpretation courtesy of wiki. Batum is our lucky charm. In the asian culture 88 is a symbol of fortune and luck. The word 8 sounds similar to the word Fā (发, which implies 发财, or wealth, in Mandarin). The number 8 is considered to be the luckiest number of all in Chinese culture and prices in Chinese supermarkets can often be found containing many 8's, See Numbers in Chinese culture. The Chinese government has even been auctioning auto license plates containing many 8s for tens of thousands of dollars. The upcoming Olympics in Beijing is due to open on 8/8/08 at 8 p.m.
