Yeah dude, I totally enjoy watching lightning and hearing/feeling the thunder.
Thunderstorms are a spectular event to behold- the visceral thrill of a thundering boom or a lightning bolt illuminating the sky, especially at night. It is very reminiscent of Independence Day fireworks going off in the sky (with less colors of course). But fireworks cannot match the sheer ferocity of the house-shaking roar of thunder, can it? Nor are fireworks an act of nature, which adds to the mystique, I feel. But alas, I digress.
Yes, lightning and thunder are a cool experience, but when it keeps me up at night for hours upon hours when I'm attempting to get my beauty sleep, that's when my enjoyment of this natural phenomonon ends and my ire begins.
