OT: Farewell to my friends/enemies.....
For just 3 1/2 weeks! Gotcha! Yes the HCP is off to Scotland for a little rest and relaxation with the family. I was told there is no" internets" over there and if there is, I'm sure they will be chatting about golf! Seriously, I'm not bringing a phone or computer so I will miss the summer league. I will be staying near St. Andrews. If anybody has any things for me to check out....holla'! Don't worry, I will be keeping it real in the old country. I'll be taking in a Jay-Z show in Glasgow! I'll be rolling in my Blazer hoodie in the Highlands!
PS- Also let me know if there are any good Mexican restaurants over there. I don't want a Haggis taco!
PPS-Mods, I know this is WAAAAAYYYYYYY off topic, but my man ZackAddy had 5 or 6 travel blogs on here at a time!
THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE!!!

Sweet. I have extended family that lives outside of Edinburgh (actually just across the firth of forth). It's been 12 years since I've visited so I can't tell you what kind of Mexican restaurants to expect, but Haggis is actually pretty good.
You definitely should try to make a trip up to Inverness if you have the time.

Ha! Ha! I had Mexican food in Edinburgh (the birthplace of me Great Gran) back in '99. It was kinda expensive for what it was, have a fried pizza instead. Check out Edinburgh Castle for sure!

Oh yuck... I don't even want to think of how Scotland would warp Mexican cuisine.
Sheep brain and thistles tacos. Haggis burritos. Mutton fajitas. Bluuck.

You'll certainly be missed!
As for internet cafes, I don't know about Scottland specifically, but when I was in Ireland, England, and Wales they were pretty easy to find and that was at least five or six years ago by now.
Good luck!

Re: OT: Farewell to my friends/enemies.....
Have fun! I was there last summer. I brought a laptop and there was wifi all over the place.
Definitely some awesome castles to see over there and some good beer (and whisky) to drink.
I have no idea about Mexican food, but the Haggis is kick ***, so are the cuban cigars.

Re: OT: Farewell to my friends/enemies.....
I was going to bring my laptop, but my wife said hell no! I could just see myself sitting on the steps of the ruins of a 15th century castle arguing with you guys about how many minutes Bayless should have gotten in the 2nd summer league game.
