If by some ''CHANCE'' Miles doesnt resign...Blazers will get Rashard Lewis!
I was just thinking that its likely Miles will resign...however if he doesnt.....i would bet anything we trade SAR for Lewis and maybe another player......because then we would have no SF if Miles bolts, so im just sayinmg Miles will be priority 1 for Nash because then we could figure out wether his osition is set or needs to be filled with lewis!

That'd be a good back up plan... but Miles will be back.

I would do a Rahim for Lewis trade anyways... with the other player being a resigned Barry or Radmon or ?
with Radmon we would have to add more players to make it fair talent wise.
Lewis can play some 2...
I woudl not be opposed to a Lewis instead of Miles

why wouldn't Miles resign?
If he gets an offer with someone else, isn't it that the blazers who can decide whether or not to re-sign him, and not Miles?

I agree that Miles is probably the more complete (not to mention exciting) player of the two. That said, Lewis really can fill it up from the outside. Would it be worth making that trade anyway with the plan being to play Lewis and/or Miles at the two? Or rather, have Miles defend which ever is more dangerous between the opposing two and three? It would mean there'd still be a logjam (albeit a slightly different one) and it would mean someone would be playing "out of position" somewhat regularly and it'd made a division rival stronger so perhaps it's not such a great idea. Still, this Blazer team could use someone with that sort of range....

I can not see this happening.. but if Miles got a offer for $7-9 mil or so.... we might pass on matching the offer
I like a trade of Lewis + Barry for Rahim..... might be very good for both teams

I'm okay with that -- there might only be a dozen guys in the league (of those getting meaningful minutes) who could be said to be completely consistent performers. My issue with him is that he's a defensive liability pretty much every night. Given that we have Miles and Patterson (both much better defenders at the same position/s), it might be worth the risk. Still, given that we're likely to be a defensively weak team at two to three other positions on the floor at any given time....

Yes without a doubt.Rashard is the superior long range shooter, but Darius is better at every other aspect of the game. Paul Allen loves Darius too much. He'll be back. I still would deal for Rashard and at he or Darius play the wings..that's some LENGTH at the wings.

Lewis and Barry for SAR would be a great trade for both teams...
Then we ship out DA and Patterson for some crap and we would have a good, young rotation.
Ive been preaching this for a long time, Miles plays SF on offense and SG on D. Lewis plays SG on offense and SF on D.
It would work.

It would work and we would have some serious length on the defensive end as well.

Monia should get those minutes IMO. The guy is more NBA ready than most people think. More so than any of the Euro's in the draft. Khyrpa is good too, these guys should get their chance, they did quite well in the Eurocup. Khrypa beat the crap out of Boidroga that one game.

I'd do SAR for Lewis+Barry.
That'd be awesome!

Darius Miles is the most exciting player we have had in years.
Theo number 2.
