Too much. The guy stinks. 6 mill is a lot for him, imo, let alone for 6 freaking years. Can anyone else say Shandon Anderson?

Overpaid. I disagree that he stinks (6'10", sweet-shooting, athletic guys don't grow on trees even in the NBA) but that's too much for a guy who hasn't improved that much in the last few years.
San Antonio still has a chance to match it even after the deal is officially signed (which can't happen for another week), and it'll be interesting to see if the Spurs just let him walk... I don't see them using so much cap space to keep Hedo around.

That's an interesting question. With that, who'd you rather have between the two? I'd have to call Miles the player I prefer in general. However, within the context of this team (that, outside of Damon, might be stretched in a game of Horse by some of us fans), I'd at least give Turkoglu serious consideration if that were the question and I were the GM.

More than I expected him to get, but reasonable given the skills he brings to the table.

Way too much. He hasn't shown much sign of improvement since his rookie year. Didn't even average 10 points a game last season. Despite shooting 42% on 3's, his FG% was 40%, and shooting is bar far is greatest attribute. I might have to reconsider my opinion on Marquis Daniels if guys like Turkoglu, Alston, and Foyle keep getting deals like these...

Also consider that Giricek was signed for 4 years, 16 million. Turkoglu is bigger and slightly younger, but I don't see Turkoglu being worth 2.5 million per season more.
The Spurs will never match that, they'll just go after someone like Jackson or Barry for the same money...
