Dude IS slow AND old... and still one of the most skilled passers at any height in the world. And still 7'3" and around 300lbs.
Sabonis is the kind of player who could produce at age 50. He couldn't jump over a phone book in his entire career as a Blazer, but he makes everyone around him better, and still vacuums up rebounds (often one-handed).

You know what I wish? I wish we could let Zalgiris have Ha and Nedzad (and maybe even the two Ruskies) on loan for a couple of years, if we could have Sabonis. We could even cut a deal whereby he only has to play home games until the playoffs. The only downside would be that Sabonis couldn't tutor the young centres. As owner of Zalgiris, Sabas ought to see the worth in that...
