“It taught me a lot, and whatever I learned, I passed on to my little brother,” Thomas says. “Scottie (Pippen), Smitty (Steve Smith) and especially coach Gurg (Tim Grgurich) — whatever they taught me, I would give it to Sebastian.”

Thomas says “Bassie” needs to work on strength, ball control and his jump shot, but projects greatness: “He probably has the potential to be better than coach (Maurice) Cheeks was.”

Uh-oh. There went Thomas’ chances to make the team......

How bizarre! If he's Telfair's brother, why does he have a different last name? Is he a half-brother? And is Telfair so intimidated by the NBA that the Blazers had to get his brother on their squad? Not a good sign.

Half brother.

Thomas was on the summer league team 2-3 years ago, and came close to making the team back then, so it's no big surprise he's back now.

Wasn't Jemaine O'Neals High School coach hired bny the Blazers to help Jermain adjust to the responsibilities of adulthood?

It's not uncommon for HS players to have tehir family around them, it just happens that Bassy's 1/2 brother has already had some ties to the Blazers in the past.

How do ya think William Pippen was on the Blazers SL team a couple years ago?
