Blazers Reuniting Kidd & Rahim?

Kidd and Shareef were team-mates on the US Olympic basketball team in 2000.

The Blazers aren't budging in their discussions with Miles, have given Ruben Patterson's agent permission to look for trades, and have said several times that they'd like to keep Rahim around next season. And now we're hearing that Kidd is ticked over the Nets' "fire-sale" and reportedly wants out.

Could this be a golden opportunity for the Blazers to reunite Kidd and Shareef? If the Blazers bring Kidd in, would it change Shareef's position on things? Would reuniting Kidd and Shareef even be a good idea?

So many questions this morning...

IMO, this topic is reaching too far for something to post about.

Kidd $14.7 mil + Mourning $5.8 mil + Williams $3.15 mil= $23.65 mil
Damon $13.5 mil + DA $8.4 mil + Woods $1.1 + Miles $4.9 mil non BYC= $27.9 mil

Add in draft picks or cash

Would maybe do it.

Sign Wes Person now as a SG

PG Kidd, Telfair
SG NVE, Hassell? Person?
SF Rahim, Patterson
PF Randolph, Williams
C Ratliff, Stepania, Mourning

IR Khryapa (out for season), Sinonovic, Outlaw

Mourning is not on the active roster, he'd be on the IR. Unless he's foolish enough to make a comeback, and the Blazers are foolish enough to play him.

Did you read hte HoopsHype rumors this morning. He is working out daily and thinking another comeback... but it does not matter. He is on the payroll and can be traded. relieveing NJ of a player not playing yet paying for him is a plus for us. Not my fave way of obtaining a player, but it might work. Could cut down on the rest of the clutter as an alternative trade

Nope, but after his tyraid in the RMR.. he is not high on my list. I would rather pay $1.99 more and get Wes back
