I think its a great deal for Portland & NJ, and a OK deal for Minn... but a horrible deal for Toronto. IMO.
Minn. has Cassell, so I question if they'd want Kidd, his knee, and his contract.

Good deal for all involved...except Toronto. They would most certainly want more in return than Wally & Kandi.

The Nets' interest in trading Jason Kidd has moved the Knicks closer to exchanging Kurt Thomas for Wally Szczerbiak, according to several NBA sources.
In a three-way scenario shaped by the Minnesota Timberwolves' desire to land Kidd, the Knicks would send Thomas to the Nets and end up with Minnesota's Szczerbiak and New Jersey's Aaron Williams. The Nets also would land the Timberwolves' Sam Cassell and Ervin Johnson as compensation for shipping out Kidd, who is coming off knee surgery and has $90 million left on the $103 million contract he signed last summer.

the plot thickens!

Thanks Trader Bob!
Something I just threw together, I can see that it needs some tinkering, but the idea is there. Kidd doesn't want to come to Portland is what I am getting and Minnesota is interested. That is why they wanted Rahim in the first place. Now that Carter has asked to be moved......now you have my wacky trade idea!

Wally's contract is just so bad that i cant see the Raps agreeing unless you work in Rose going and another young player coming back the other way
