Nick van Exel....already saying hes gonna be out quite a bit!

Reading between the lines with Van Exel...not good at all! Hes saying his knees are bad and hes not 100%.

The question isnt how many games he will play...its how many games he will miss.

Simmer down Mixum, he's just said he wants around 20-25 mpg. Thats good news for us. That means Damon will/should get about 25mpg too.

Don't read between the lines anymore. Please.

Even if NVE misses time it just gives more opportunity to Telfair and Qyntel to prove themselves. Not a bad prospect IMO.

Agreed, though I'd also include Frahm and even Patterson as better options at the 2 spot in most situations. NVE is a point guard, as is Damon, not necessarily from any particular mentality (or lack thereof) but because they're most capable of defending other point guards. T-mac will have a field day if the Blazers try for any serious stretch of a game to defend him with either Damon or NVE. And, Nick lives for the big games. He'll be ready for a playoff push if/when the time comes and, if the team dives a la the Mariners, it's just more time for the guys like Telfair, Outlaw, Woods, and Frahm.
