i havent read anything of that nature.....although he didnt sound too happy to be at camp on Monday but again....he didnt say anything wrong and Quick would have been all over it if he had so im wondering where all this DA is negative stuff is coming from?

Listen to DA's talk in the Blog on www.oregonlive.com. Also on Courtside, his interview with Barrett, he put a lot of the blame on last season on coaching and management. Whether true or not, he should just keep his mouth shut. Then again he and Ruben are boys.

They are? Really? It's not that I'm disbelieving you but, their public personas, they seem an unlikely pair of friends to me. I'd been assuming that his "support" for Patterson was born from the more basic bond of them both being players (and teamates) and secondarily from DA's general grumpiness with Cheeks. If you've got more insight on this I'd love to hear about it.

DA is frustrated.

Injuries & inconsistency turned a promising career into a dismal career. Add to that, he leaves a team that wins a title to come to a team that has very little chance. He's tried to be 'johnny-be-good' and a team captain, but was a bit of a failure and ended up doing a lot of whining. He realizes the Blazers would like to dump him, but as he's damaged goods this will never happen. So he collects his pay and sulks.
