Question for you guys??

i am curious where everybody stands on this issue

would you guys be opposed to the blazers starting all the young guys even if they werent ready??? this cant obviously happen now that we still have SAR and acquired NVE and have incumbent damon...but what about for next season????

for next season i really would like to see a starting lineup of

telfair...frahm/monia...miles...Zbo...theo

with khryapa getting a ton of minutes at backup SF and PF

another topic for discussion is whether or not we still need outlaw, i honestly dont see him ever getting meaningful PT because quite simply Khryapa from ALL reports is a better COMPLETE basketball player

And i am optimistic that we might have found a solid shooting guard rotation for years to come in Monia and Frahm, of course this is contingent on Monia panning out but if he does than we are set

i really like what i see in the blazers future but i think that starting w/ next season the blazers should start and/or play these players a great deal so they can learn on the go and gain valuable experience (i am not a beleiver in learning from the bench)

future

PG- Telfair (next stockton)
SG- Monia...Frahm
SF- Miles...Khryapa
PF- Randolph...Khryapa
C- Ratliff...Seung-Jin

Taking the cart before the horse, aren't we?

Some of these players haven't played 1 minute in the NBA and may not ever. It's hard to respond to your post.

That aside, in general terms, I think we've done a relatively poor job over the last 6 years or so in developing new talent. Like you, I would like to see the new kids play more and see what they can do. Snapper Jones has repeatedly stated that practice is one thing, but playing in the games is where a player learns the game.
