Mid-Season Trade Targets/Options...

this is a list i compiled of players i feel we should make a run at with our vast number of expiring contracts which also happen to be quality players (NVE, Damon and SAR) combined with draft picks and/or young talent such as Woods

Pierce
J-Rich
Redd
Joe Johnson
Peja
Ray Allen
VC

Now clearly a deal for J-Rich, Redd or Joe Johnson would have to be a three or four team deal because they are still in their SMALL rookie contracts and thus under CBA rules their team would be unable to absorb our HUGE ending contracts

just looking for your guys' thoughts on which one you would trade for and how, use tradechecker on realgm.com if you like

GO BLAZERS!

Obvioulsy it really depends on the success of both the Blazers and the other team involved.

well, seattle's and golden state's respectively seasons are going to end even sooner than portland's. so maybe... though allen probably isn't acquirable in any case, and I don't like richardson.

The player John Nash really liked prior to the draft was JR Smith. Everyone on that list of yours is unrealistic imo.

*Carter isn't worth trading much for (Rahim straight up? sure....but nothing beyond that)

*Ray-Ray is pushing 30 and wants a max-extention.

* Peja, Sac will want a ton in return, I don't think we have the pieces. With Webber (and his unmoveable contract) I dont think they'll take on another PF.
