Re: Chad Ford Says......

I sure hope they are only showcasing him.

Better trade him quick while the illusion remains that he can play the 3.

Once we face a few real teams in November, the jig is up.

I think Howie is probably right on. I agree with him more than myself.

I pretty much agree with Howie. And now even more so that Zach may have a minor involvement in the dog fighting case. Despite the fact the Blazer management has made it very clear the new 25 Point Pledge (or whatever it is) applies to scubs only, he still could be shipped off. If DA continues to be DA and if the Baby Gansta does not recover fully from his knee surgery, then we have no option but to make a move for a major SG- and that would be easier to get if we trade Zach (because we could package him with any number of dead wood players) and resign SAR for our PF over the next 3-4 years. Nash is being smart by taking his time and letting this all play out. Step by step..... tick tock......tick tock.....tick tock.... stay turned for more, "As the Blazer Turns.... we'll be right back after a message from our newest sponser- Alpo dog food......... tick tock......tick tock.....

I wish I had the faith that you do.

I don't think they have any intention of shipping Randolph anywhere.

Whether it is because they don't want a JO thing or because they really believe Randolph is some sort of cornerstone, I don't know. But, I don't think they have plans to move him.

But, I think it would be the most advantageous move, even though I want Reef to be somewhere that WANTS him.

The Blaze could resign Reef to 9-10MM/year. The extra savings between the Reef deal and the Randolph MAX deal could sign another decent player. Role players are where games are won and lost anyhow.

A good SG right now puts this team in contention for a run in the playoffs. The Blaze would have one of the better PFs. They have one of the best defensive players and defensive Cs. They'd have a good SG. They'd have good roleplayers in Patterson and Miles. An average PG.

Not bad.

They'd need a coach though.

Play.
