OT: The Man Of So Far
Who would you vote so far as being THE MAN this NBA season?
(I know it's early, but I'm bored)
Here's one vote for Wade.

Fair nuff. Boozer has looked good in leading the team to 3 wins.
I don't know if he can keep up those type of numbers, but he looks good and consistant right now.

Ben Wallace is averaging 5 assists, 3 blocks, 2 steals, 12.3 rebounds and 12 points per game.
That's sort of Manly

Okay, I can go for that. t's hard to measure what Wallace brings to the table each night.
I'd guess he means more to the Pistons success than almost any other player means to theirs.

I would be shocked if Boozer kept up the pace he has set so far, but these few games are all we have to go by so I gotta give it up to him.

Yes Boozer has played nicely, but I just couldn't consider him as the early season "man". Why give to him when KG has way better numbers? I know it is the easy way to choose someone like KG, but there is really no was around it.... He is averaging so far somewhere around 27 points and 17 rebounds.......that is insane. I haven't looked at his other stats, however you know his assists and block are going to be good as well. I would also put Ron Artest in my "manly" list. He has taken it upon homself to lift a depleted Pacers squad and has been his usual defensive self and has put in some huge offensive games.

Ron Artest is one of the most underrated all-around players in the game. He is, in my opinion, the best player on the Pacers. He's twice the player O'Neal WANTS to be.
If it weren't for his brushes with psychotic behavior, he'd be one of the faces of the NBA.

I agree completely Play. Artest is one of my favorite NBA players. I would love to see him in a Blazers jersey. He brings a lot to the table but doesnt really get a lot of credit. I think it is funny that J Oneal was in the MVP running last year when to me Artest was more important to that team.... I dont even mind his craziness either as those things dont really bother me, however, imagine how much bad press he would get here in Portland

If the guy wants to freak out because the team doesn't want to play hard - then I'm all for it.
It's the extracurricular freaking that I have issues with.

Actually Boozer is averaging 3 less points and 4 less rebounds in 10 less minutes so their statistics are roughly equivalent. Boozer is also shooting 62.5 % compared to 57.6 % for KG. Since Utah has not lost yet I would give the nod to Boozer.

Why not Telfair then? 48 assists per 48 minutes.
BTW< Boozer is also averaging 0 steals and .33 blocks and only 3.33 assists. He just doesn't measure up to KG in those categories.

Alright tlong, going on per 48 min stats can be a bit misleading, however, I guess I will let you do that...haha. But under those same circumstances, how do Boozer's Assists and Blocks stack up to Garnett's?
