It's no wonder SAR has been so "peaceful", it's Ramadan.

Funny. Very funny.

But, isn't it more like 98% of the NBA's attention.

I still say it:

I admire Rahim tremendously. He's obviously a man of strong faith and high principles. He uses Islam as a path to personal peace and fulfillment, which is as it should be.

I just wish more Muslims practiced their religion the same way, and didn't use it a political tool or an inspiration for Jihad. If they did, there would be a lot less torture, beheadings, mass executions, rapes, and suicide bombings in the Middle East.

As with all religions.

This is a little jarring and a LOT political. I think you are off-base on the number of people using this religion incorrectly. It's the "vocal minority".

You, along with those that use the Qu'Ran to inflict destruction, don't understand the message nor the meaning of the word Jihad.

Feel free to respond, but this is all I have to say on the topic.

That "vocal minority" is a huge movement all over the world. Since 9/11, the U.S. government has identified 27 International Islamic organizations that support terrorism, including 5 in the United States.

These groups have recruited thousands of young Muslim men into their ranks, and continue to do so every day. In the Middle East, pictures of suicide bombers are placed on the walls in primary schools in the same way that we honor our presidents Lincoln and Washington.

Islam is the fastest-growing religion in the world, and its militant radical wing is growing right along with it. They seek the overthrow of the U.S. and its allies, and intend to make Islam the ruling religion in the world.

I wish all Muslim men were like Rahim, and practiced their religion in a peaceful way. Unfortunately, that's not the case.

If you want to talk about Islam, or ANY religion, go to PMs or EBB. Let's keep this to basketball or at least out of political areas.
