Unhappy lazy front office will nix all deals

as we have watched before," time and time again" over the summer and now.

the two boobs that run this show are slow and
not basket ball savy they loose out becuase of treatin this as 100 percent buiness venture not ever really looking at the whole scope of this franchise,{better to bring in a few stars to get butts in the seats than to save a few bucks and have fans walk away

no amount of" PR roses" will get back the old guard real fans

they call us the trail loosers back east THAT SUCKS

C'mon.....how do you know what's going on behind the scenes????

....and signing Zach, Theo and Darius to long term deals is trying to "save a few bucks"????

Oh, and how do you just "bring in a few stars"? Yeah, they're walking around outside the Rose Garden....just bring 'em in, huh?

Patience is a virtue and the Blazers are right to take their time before committing to long term deals for fading "stars" like Carter and Kidd.

What's a "Trail Looser" by the way?

Thumbs down you must really enjoy this group

it sounds as if your a PR rose giver.
i said that a few stars would help." miles is not a star" but a good player". {ratliff is a great player} not a star and randolph is a great player who hasnt earned that reputation

you keep wadeing in the garbage pile they set before you and youll never see a star becuase your content whith the garbage "this doesnt include theo or zach or tellfair their fine

and by the way signing these guys was not a immeadiate priority thru the summer we almost traded two of them zach "when he lied and miles when we were thinking of a counter move for{KMART} the signing was a last resort "no free agents wanted to suit up for us we have a reputation both externally and internally

it isnt a good rep either

Read my post again.....I didn't say I thought that these were great moves or that I was happy with the team. You stated that the Blazers were trying to "save a few bucks" by not bringing in "stars"....I responded with the fact that the Blazers have signed three players to long term deals in the last 6 months....didn't say they were good moves, but they are not just dumping salary to save money. You talk about bringing in a star to fill seats....what star??? How???

Also, how do you know what our reputation is among NBA players and agents? Do you talk to NBA players and agents?

Actually I am enjoying this group a lot less as it becomes more dominated by incoherent posts and ill-informed posters who can't even use proper spelling or punctuation.

Exactly...I can't stand it when someone plays the all high and mighty card. So something is not spelled correctly...so what! Maybe go somewhere else if you don't like the "incoherent" posts on the forum.

In this case, it's correct that they are trying to save money. If they wanted, they could deal Shareef and Van Exel for Rose and Carter...but the blazers don't want to get Rose unless they can dish off Derek Anderson's contract.

Arrow rattle-n-rollin

I dont think we need VC or Kidd, I mean if this was the year 2000 then I'd say yeah...But both of those guys are injuries waiting to happen..I love VC to, or at least I used to...His game and attitude have really slipped over the years. .And Kidd hits women, he gets NO respect from me..

Other than that welcome to the board...Even though I dont agree with all your points.. I rated you a 5, I think we need more posters like you.

Talking i appreaciate the props b-rocks but i know i went over the line its just those snotty

posts where the guy wants to really strain a nats eye. or feel his opinion is the only one. mine is mine as well as a few more who feel this way

but other veiw points are great it gives a different perspective
i generally enjoy most posters on BBB its just those pissy grammar whimps who get off issue

Becuase their content is boring so they leash out at "joe fan"
i believe basketball fans have great IQ`s its the grammar whimps i dont like.

And i have 7 years of colloge and a degree yet my spelling at times gets lazy when im typeing my thoughts

i didnt get my job in creative writing. but media arts whith a communication minor.

this blazer team is a team i followed since i moved to oregon in 1980 i`ve seen lots of games and met many players and all were always very cool.

I love the franchise but i believe the current posse has sort of droped the ball on many deals ."when given the opportunity they blinked or were asleep at the wheel.

yes "theo" has turned up to be one of the best players in current tradeing but whith shareef we got more talent to ride the pine

He is a starter at PF but whith zach we dont need him so instead of tradeing this hot commodity we take him out of position and hope being a power foward can adjust to being a small foward.

where we already have D-miles we dont have any real good back court players Damon is pathetic and DA is really a big let down

unproven tellfair needs more time playing but the big salary damon poops on sabastians parade.

rather see kidd get here, train tellfair, as what a great PG needs to be
then let it be his team and as "vincesanity" its his love to be a US player thats his beef and torontos perpetual looseing thats his problem. his knees are very serviceable.

It his heart thats in need of a jump start.

my point that we have a negative REP

even if its better it takes time {on jasaon kidd to portland}

still prefers a trade to staying with the New Jersey Nets, but if the Nets trade him to Portland, the All-Star guard will not report to the Trail Blazers, a source close to Kidd told ESPN.com.

Although such a move would almost certainly result in a suspension without pay, the source indicated that Kidd is hoping his stand will discourage the Nets from trading the 31-year-old somewhere he doesn't want to go. Kidd's wish list includes the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Denver Nuggets, the Dallas Mavericks, the San Antonio Spurs and the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Blazers have shown more interest that most of those clubs, sources say, even though Kidd has made it clear he doesn't want to play for them

Is that a joke? I think punctuation and spelling is important as well. It's our language for goodness sake.
