Best comment on the proposed trade I've read thus far!
The only person I'd be willing to throw into that pile of used goods from the Blazers is probably DA. Those are all guys that have either been super ineffective and/or have killer contracts that no one wants to touch.

So basically TO would do this to prevent paying Rose $16.9mil in 06/07, which by then Toronto hopes to be contenders in the East with a mature Chris Bosh.

Well... they do get rid of Jalen's atrocious contract. And I don't believe either of those players are starting for the Raps right now. But, I do agree, talent-wise it is extremely lopsided!

True... but they're basically trading 2 players for nothing.... Is Penny even healthy???
Isaiah Thomas is really breaking the bank with this team.. they're going to be in the worst contract situation ever..

If the knicks get Rose they are just going to dig their cap hole even more deeper. They will not even sniff the Salary cap anytime soon.

Some interesting names going around.....
