Q Update..
FWIW
Quote:
Portland, Ore. - Qyntel Woods is a name we have not heard much about in the past few months after the Trail Blazer was suspended for the entire season without pay.
....Since then, the NBA Player's Association has filed a grievance, but KATU News has learned that Woods and his agent have not asked for a hearing. In other words, they are not fighting the suspension at this time.
A spokesperson for the union would not explain why and instead referred questions to Woods' agent. KATU News tried to contact that agent on Tuesday, but the calls were not returned.
The District Attorney will merely say the investigation continues.

Re: Q Update..
Not even requesting a hearing??? That's pretty close to an admission of guilt. There is obviously more to this whole story than what we've heard to this point. The fact that he's just dropped off the face of the earth and is not fighting the suspension leads me to believe that he is guilty of possibly more than just the dog fighting charges. This whole situation is just weird.

I still think they are hanging their hat on the MJ apparently found at his house and the current suspension is based on recurring drug problems. In the mean time, they continue with the dog investigation.

If he really was getting a bum rap, wouldn't he be at least fighting the suspension. The fact that he and his agent don't seem to be contesting it at all suggests he is guilty of the "pending" dog fighting charges as well as possibly more (drugs?).

I'm interested to hear the charges, and if he's guilty of something I hope he's punished.
If not, though, I hope that he's back on the court and given the chance to help the Blazers win some games.
