Jason Quick recap....from todays olive's forum weekly chat!
1. Damon is gone at seasons end because he doesnt wanna tutor telfair.
2. Zach and Darius might play Saturday but it doesnt look good right now.
3. Nash will get an extension.
4 No trade news including pierce(Nash is in Europe)
5 Quick thinks the Blazers could use better assistant coaches!
6. Likes the young guys alot and loves Pryzbilla!
honestly he didnt tell us anything we didnt know...for once can the man give us something we dont know...some inside stuff?

Shocking.
I thought that Steamamire (team is right there in the middle of his name, you know....) would do whatever it took to win games. That it wasn't all about him padding his statistics and drawing an 8 figure paycheck.

Of course he doesn't. He knows Telfair is gunning for his job. But a more plausible explanation for Damon being gone at season's end is because his contract is expiring. In fact, I'd put money on Damon being gone by the trade deadline and the Blazers playing NVE the remainder of the season at PG due to Damon's expiring contract.

Is he serious.. keeping Cheeks? Wow.. that doesn't sound good. The coach should not be getting his team in situations that are "most dire" in the first place, ie. big losing streaks.

I'll take that bet PBF. NVE by all accounts is the most tradable player on the team.
And this whole Cheeks meter thing going up????? I hope he meant keep his until the end of the year. Keeping Cheeks would be as or more syupid than Theo's contrat extention.

More like, Damon doesn't want to be around when Telfair TAKES his job. Damon has always come across as very selfish and very insecure.
