Who woulda thunk it? He's abusing Tim Duncan. Wow.

And he averages more fouls per game than points for his career.

I share your fear. Perhaps we should extend him to around 5-6 mil a year, which is way above his market value right now, but would be a bargain if he can continue to play this well.
I don't know if Ratliff still has any trade value, but we should deal him off for an expiring contract.

over the past five games against some pretty good big men (Mavs, Spurs, Wolves, Kings, Cavs) he's averaged 13 boards, 12 points, 63% shooting, 36minutes and one turnover a game. only two blocks total, which surprises me a little.
that's some outstanding productivity and probably the best stretch of his career.
it'd be absolutely huge if we could count on this kind of production, plus his good man and help defense, for the next five or six years.
cross your fingers. despite all the hype about Telfair, Randolph, Miles and Ratliff from early in the year, Joel might be the one guy who makes all the misery of this season almost worth while.

sorry to jump into your post, but I did catch the game against Dallas on NBA TV a couple of days ago, and I was surprised Pryz can play, I have always thought of him a big stiff but he played a good game almost looked like one of the better players on the floor that night for Portland.
