Actually, I think Q wasn't really given a fair shot by Cheeks for whatever reason.
The times when he actually got to play (not at PG) for significant minutes, he put up decent numbers and was an asset to the team.
After the failed PG experiment though, Cheeks was happy to play Dickau, Cook and Gill over Woods in the backcourt rotation, which tells me that Cheeks just didn't like him.
We had a clear gap at backup SG after we traded Person and Woods was never given the opportunity to fill that.
Take Cheeks out of the equation and maybe Woods would have been given the opportunity and be in a different position today... who knows?
I wouldn't be surprised if he starts putting in 20 quality mpg for the heat and helps them win games.
Oh well... whatever. Hopefully Outlaw continues to develop.
