I know many of you hate Mo, but replacing him is not the answer in this case. He didn't do anything wrong, the blame is solely on Darius's shoulders.
I think we should wait to replace Cheeks after the season is over, not in the middle of it.

I think suspending Miles for a significant number of games is reasonable, but I voted for trading Miles for what you can get. This is not a first time for Miles. He has repeatedly shown no respect for authority and is a great example of what is wrong with the NBA--players with all the money think they should be the boss and make the rules. I don't think Miles will change, so, we either put up with it for the next six years or trade him.

I didn't see a choice to get rid of Cheeks and suspend Darius, but that's what I think the answer is. You don't get rid of Cheeks for this incident, but you get rid of him for being mind-numbingly inept at his job.

You have to at least fine and bench him... I think suspending him for a week is reasonable.
Lock him out of the practice facility for a week, don't let him travel with the team and don't pay him... give him some time to think about it and get his head together. This sends the message to the team that you have to act respectfully to coach, whether you like him or not.
No way does Cheeks get fired this season now. Management absolutely cannot send the message to the players that they can just be an ******* to the coach and *poof* the coach is gone, regardless of their reasons for wanting to get rid of him. The dude is invincible. They just better not extend him - not that I think he would want to stay here at this point.

I would do a combination of choices. I would replace Cheeks, but I would also fine and/or suspend Miles.

I did vote replace Mo now. I think you also fine and suspend Mo.
WIth a young team this kind of situation needs to be nipped. Young guys are toio impressionable to go through a team crapping out on a coach, and I think the team will infact bail on Mo after this sitation. Every one knows something aint right, but now it's out there on the table, and people are gonna have to deal with it.
Suspend and fine Miles and start coach hunting.

Suspend Miles for a few games...No matter how frustrated as a player one can get...and I am sure Miles is very frustrated..again...obviously...berating your coach and calling him slurs in front of then team is not appropriate under ANY circumstances...no matter how inept the coach may be.
Suspend Miles a few games...hopefully he cools down....let Cheeks finish out the season and then fire\replace him...trade away as many veterans\expiring contracts as you can for younger talent and\or picks.
POR is WAY past attempting to salvage the season with a playoff run.

it wasn't really an option, but here's what I'd do if I were in management:
A) Tell Miles he's not going to play for two games. Try to fine him, watch the Players Association protest, eventually pay him, yadda yadda.
B) Have a private talk with Cheeks. explain four facts:
1. Miles is a Blazer long-term. Do what you have to to keep him line. Don't start him if you don't want to.
2. Randolph is a Blazer long-term. See #1.
3. One more insurrection by a different player from Miles and Randolph and your career as a Blazer coach is over. You are easy to replace, they aren't. Sorry, but them's the facts.
4. We are officially at the halfway mark of the season. run whatever screwball lineup you want. if we don't win at least eight of the next ten games, we have no hope of making the playoffs. if we have no hope of making the playoffs, it's time to tank, and time to play Telfair, Outlaw, Miles and Randolph huge minutes. time to fire you too.

Get rid of Mo, this aint the first time he's had problem with some of the best players on our team. Maybe he would have the team's respect if he wasn't such an idiot when he coaches.
