I would like to apologize to all of our Trail Blazers fans for not being a part of the team these next two games and for not being able to help us win. Things were said in frustration and I am sorry for that.

It is very important to me that our fans understand that I am committed to winning and that the losses we have had this season have been difficult for all of us. My entire focus when I return to the team will be on winning and helping us make a run for the playoffs.

As someone said earlier was this whole argument over changes that should be made? I mean if Darius is serious about winning and he keeps hearing the SAME GAME PLAN every game maybe he got fed up. I would, not sure he needed to use racial remarks (Even if it is accepted in culture)

Well, I happen to agree somewhat with Mixum this once. It's a canned apology he was probably cohersed into making. You can't call you coach a ******, dare him to use physical force and wipe it away with a "sorry". Sorry doesn't fix it.

Wow Blazers fans excuse that sorta behavior aimed at the coach because they are losing , amazing. That kinda immature behavior isn't simply cleared away with am I was frustrated apology. Somehow you've made his ridiculous outburst justified. As a man you can't allow your emotion to ever descend you into using that sorta language on a man as respected as Cheeks.

Miles has underachieved his whole career, the franchise has made terrible personnel moves and everyone hangs Miles frustrations at the feet of Cheeks. What genious thought Milles
was worth 48 mil.
