Just read John C's article, and with all the drama that has surrounded the NBA this season, and the Blazers in particular, that was a nice read. No matter how you feel about the local sports guys, when I just read what he reported happened, it make me feel good to be a Blazer fan. The fact that Van Excel thought enough reach out with inpirational reading. Telfair taking his coach to a car show. Damon giving his verbal support. All the while mgt reportedly not supporting the coach at all. It's just nice to read that some of the players recognized their coach needed some support and gave it to them.
Just an obsevation.
