Exclamation Just sent nash an EMAIL with my trade idea! Doubt he even reads it but what the hell!

Heres my idea....just to make sure he doesnt overlook a great chance to get a shooter!

John, i was thinking about a trade that to me makes sense for both Minny + Portland.....let me just throw this out at ya!

Since the Twolves are struggling and seem to need a little shakeup, I was thinking maybe we could get Wally+Cassel(or Spreewell...one or the other) for SAR _+ DA, now im not sure on the salarys but you get the idea of he trade. now obviously Minny would have to agree to do this or even entertain the idea but heres why in my opinion it makes sense!

1. We get the much needed shooter back in Wally whos a good guy and get rid of DA's big contract for wallys but the difference wally will help us win unlike Da so at least the money is being spent well. We take back ONE of those headcases in Spree or Cassel but can let them walk at seasons end and lose the character issue while they help us make a run for the playoffs!

2. Minny does this deal because they need a change badly and Garnett has never loved Wally and they get rid of one of their problems in Spree/Cassel while getting SAR who can play on the frontline next to Garnett! i think Spree or Cassel would welcome a change even its only for a few months and would play hard for a new deal with somebody! They also get DA who would accept his role alot quieter than Spree or Cassel....I think it makes so much sense as long as the salarys work.

3. Wally is the perfect guy for Portland to cheer for, cleancut, solid player, good character, plays hard, and most of all hes a shooter!

Again i doubt the salarys match but both teams im sure can find a way with some other players like the Frahm types or draft picks to make it work!

hey i was board and Nash can use all teh help he can get with trades...or so it seems....hope he proves me wrong but it never hurts to give an idea but like i said...i doubt he even reads this!

I like the Theo/DA for Spree/Ervin/1st round pick idea more.

We gotta realize that we are not a great team and wont be anytime soon. Trading for Cassell(Washed up, bad attitude, not much of an upgrade over Damon or NVE) and Wally(Nice shooter, not so nice contract) wont do anything but add maby 3-5 wins.

Why should the Blazers think they can make a playoff run with Sam and Wally when the T-Wolves, a team with the best player on earth, cant even make a run.

Nash has responded to a few of our emails and trade ideas... some haev posted his responses on here

I was fortunate enough to get a response to one of my ideas last year. He was very kind and gracious

One thing to keep in mind, if you run it through the trade checker and it works, he might be more inclined to respond. Just hashing out theories he might not want to read... just my

I would be really opposed to getting Sprewell..... I am ok with Sam I am...

I am not all that opposed to getting Wally, even with a big $ contract. But I am not sure Minny will want to deal him... I just see DA as dead weight right now...

How about this an alternate?

Portland sends Miles $5.8 mil ($4.1 mil in return for BYC) + DA $8.4 mil = $14.2 mil

Minnesota sends Wally $9 mil + Hoiberg $1.65 mil + Madsen $1.65 mil = $12.3 mil

Works good CBA wise.. and numbers wise!

Would be nice, but I am not sure its enough for Minny? Miles is on a roll and would do great with them. This gives us what we need, especially if Rahim is dealt.

maybe a draft pick and cash would help

I'll take Wally over Spree any day of the week and twice on Sundays. For what it's worth, Wally's a great shooter who may fit in with this bunch... KG comes off as being an egocentric jerk, a personality that may clash with Wally's. Second, even considering a guy like Latrell would surely infuriate many season ticket holders who are tired of rooting for bad seeds (which he qualifies for).

Even though Wally has his faults, I'd take him and his contract over Sprewell and his baggage.

TB why in all your trades are you getting rid of DMiles? Ruben raped someone, Sheed has done numerous things, Bonzi flipped the crowd off and yelled at the coach during a game and we are trading DMiles because he called the coach the n-word? I think some people should lighten up. Rappers use it all the time in their songs and I bet almost every BBall player has said that to their teammates or someone.

He's doing great this year when he isn't injured or is getting big min.

Although this may not be the right trade, seeing as how we have so many promising players at the SF position, dealing Miles for a guy like Redd or Pierce (in some package, for example) would improve every aspect of this team. It may not be because of what Miles did in the locker room or what he said to Mo, but it may be a sound move from an overall basketball perspective.

I agree, I mean if he has to be packaged in a deal to get them than yeah do it, but not in trades for like a Wally.

He's doing great this year when he isn't injured or is getting big min.

First off, I am kind of on the fence with Darius. It has nothing to do with the recent outburst with Coach Cheeks. I tend to think he is not our long term soultion at the SF spot.

I think Darius is having a pretty good year, and I think he has shown improvement this year. I am just not sold on him.

The one thing that does bug me about Darius is his FT shooting. MILES FT SHOOTING has cost us many a game this year. He has to improve his FT%... its a must

I think its possible despite his BYC status, that he can be traded. And since he is doing well we might be able to snag a player that may help us out. Kind of sell when his stock is high methodology. His contract is not that bad... and a decent value for the talent.

We also are pretty well blessed at the SF spot. Would it be so terrible if Ruben started the rest of the year, even if Rahim is dealt as well? Then bring either Outlaw or Khryapa off the bench behind Ruben... Especially if we got a great shooter at the SG spot?????

Remeber you have Monia coming next year as well....

I think SheedSoNasty said it pretty well...

If its a package that improves the team we do it....
