Some players Nash should go after.

Here is a list of players I think Nash should go after, either now or in the off-season to help improve the future of the Blazers:

Nene - 6'11" 260lb beast (great size and potential, good character). I think
should be the PF the Blazers build around if there is any chance of
getting him.

Mikeal Peitrus - Big shooting guard with smooth game, good character

Joe Johnson - Big guard that can hit the three and play some point

JR Smith - 40 inch vertical and good range. Superstar potential

Who are some players you guys think we should go after?

Re: Some players Nash should go after.

With Zach going down with knee surgery, we have no back up 4. So why not go for a player who's : young, and has a lot of potential?

Kwame Brown : A change a scenery could do wonders for him. 7'0" athletic 4. Upside is big.

I would love to see Portland land a player like Joe Johnson, he is young, he is up coming, he is just what the doctor ordered for this team.

What's the scoop about Utah? I can't believe they'd want to do any other team a favor so what's in it for them? Likely I'm just behind on the news again, as this is at least the second or third time I've read mention of this. Still, what's the scoop?

Honestly, I'm not sure what they're looking for in return, in terms of specific players. All I heard, was that since they were under the cap, that they were willing to help us facilitate a deal. Meaning some sort of a three-way trade. Other than that, I'm not sure what their deal is.

Zach Randolph is not having surgery. He is expected to play wednesday. Email John Nash, thats what I did.
